The West Coast has been a special place for us especially when it comes to our Canopy stays. Our first ever stay was at the breathtaking Woodpecker Hut and then we got Engaged whilst staying at The Hexagon. We knew Fox Hut was going to be just as special if our previous West Coast Canopy Roadtrips were anything to go by.
This time around we also got to take some friends along with us who stayed at Woodpecker Hut. Woodpecker is on the same land as Fox Hut although they are still super private from one another, making it perfect for two couples road tripping together.
Fox Hut is a dreamy and spacious wood cabin designed perfectly to suit your every need. With full power available (but still off the grid from cell coverage) it means unlike most of the Canopy sites you can use added extras in the kitchen such as a toaster to make those brekkies in bed that little bit easier. I mean why wouldn’t you opt for a brekkie in bed when your view out to the ocean from the comfort of the cozy blankets is as good as it is at Fox Hut.

ox Hut has one of the best layouts with a kitchen and lounge area for you to relax by the fire and hangout over good food and a wine. The kitchen is fully enclosed, where as Woodpecker Huts cooking facilities are outdoors, so we did all of the cooking for the 4 of us within Fox allowing us to stay cosy and dry.
I fell in love with everything about Fox Hut, the styling and decor used to bring a homely feeling to the hut has been perfected beautifully with stunning black tap-wear and materials to give it a contrasting feel against the timber. They also have a very impressive barn door style slider that can seperate off the bedroom/bathroom from the living - a style after my own heart thats for sure.
Fox Hut is positioned above the ocean with an incredible view - the perfect place to watch the sun rise and set on a new day, made even more magical with the wood fire hot tub that although can be a little bit of admin to get going is 100% worth it. I suggest getting the fire started in the hot tub a few hours ahead of when your wanting to use it :)
Canopy Camping have made yet another incredible experience available right at our fingertips, on one of the most wild coastlines the South has to offer. The perfect place for a getaway whether its to celebrate an anniversary, for your baby moon, mini moon or even maybe a proposal it will leave you feeling inspired by the beauty of its surroundings.
And here I am yet again saying we have a new favourite…. I don’t think I’m ever going to have it down to just one because they are all simply breathtaking.
